Chad joined NICS in 2015 after several years as a Research Professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and as a Research Associate at Mississippi State University. Chad’s work and interests center around developing computational methods to discover non-heuristic solutions for problems in design optimization and knowledge discovery. He has a particular fascination with artificial intelligence and machine learning methods, and the application of HPC in the interest of these fields.
